VITHY® VVTF Precision Microporous Cartridge Filter utilizes sintered UHMWPE (PA/PTFE/SS304/SS316L/titanium) filter cartridge as the filter element, featuring thin and curved pores that effectively capture solid particles above 0.1 micron, resulting in a clear filtrate. Initially, only a minimal number of particles can pass through the filter cartridge when filtering below 0.1 micron. Once a thin filter cake layer forms, the filtrate quickly becomes clear.
Compared to foamed plastic, the microporous cartridge provides superior rigidity and minimal deformation under tension and pressure, particularly when temperature remains within an acceptable range (SS304/SS316L can withstand high temperatures). The filter cake on the outer surface of the cartridge easily detaches through back-blowing with compressed air, even for viscous cake. For filters using a cloth medium, it is challenging to detach the cake using common methods such as self-weight, vibration, and back-blowing, unless the method that back-blowing filter cake into the bottom residual liquid is employed. Hence, the microporous cartridge solves the issue of detaching viscous filter cake, offering a simple operation and a compact, uncomplicated equipment structure. Moreover, after back-blowing the filter cake with compressed air, high-speed air is expelled from the pores, utilizing its kinetic energy to force solid particles intercepted during filtration to be discharged. Consequently, cake detachment and cartridge regeneration become convenient, reducing labor intensity for operators.
The microporous UHMWPE /PA/PTFE filter cartridge exhibits excellent chemical resistance, capable of withstanding acid, alkali, aldehyde, aliphatic hydrocarbons, radioactive radiation, and other substances. It can also resist ester ketones, ethers, and organic solvents below 80°C (PA 110°C, PTFE 160°C). On the other hand, the filter with SS304/SS316L cartridge can withstand temperatures up to 600°C.
This filter is particularly suitable for precision liquid filtration applications with high solids content and stringent requirements for filter cake dryness. The microporous UHMWPE /PA/PTFE/SS304/SS316L/titanium filter cartridge, featuring exceptional chemical properties, can undergo multiple back-blowing or back-flushing processes, significantly reducing overall usage costs.
VITHY® VVTF Precision Microporous Cartridge Filter consist of multiple porous cartridges enclosed in a sealed container. During prefiltration, the slurry is pumped into the filter. The liquid phase of the slurry pass through the filter cartridge from outside to inside, and are collected and discharged at the filtrate outlet. Before the filter cake is formed, the discharged filtrate is returned to the slurry inlet for circulating filtration until the required filtration requirements are met. At this point, a signal is sent to stop circulating filtration. The filtrate is then directed to the next processing unit using a three-way valve. Then the actual filtration begins. Over time, when the filter cake on the filter cartridge reaches a certain thickness, a signal is sent to stop the slurry feed. Subsequently, residual fluid in the filter is discharged. The signal is then activated to initiate back-blowing using compressed air, effectively removing the filter cake. After a time, the signal is sent again to end the back-blowing process and open the filter sewage outlet to discharge. After completion, the outlet is closed, so that the filter returns to its original state, ready for the next round of filtration.
The VVTF Precision Microporous Cartridge Filter utilizes a sintered ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene powder filter cartridge as its filter element. Advantages:
