VSTF Basket Filter consists of a housing and a mesh basket. It is an industrial filtration equipment used (at the inlet or suction) for protection of pumps, heat exchangers, valves and other pipeline products. It is a cost-effective equipment for large particle removal: reusable, long service life, improved efficiency, and reduced risk of system downtime. Design standard: ASME/ANSI/EN1092-1/DIN/JIS. Other standards possible upon request.

Introduction

VITHY® VSTF Basket Filter replaces the support mesh and bag of the bag filter with a filter basket. Its common precision is 1-8000 micron.

Basket filters are divided into two types: T-type and Y-type. For Y-type basket filter, one end is to pass water and other liquids, and the other end is to precipitate waste and impurities. Usually, it is installed at the inlet end of pressure-reducing valves, pressure relief valves, constant water level valves, or other equipment. It can remove impurities in the water, protect the valves and ensure the normal operation of the equipment. The water to be treated by the filter enters the housing from the inlet, and the impurities in the water are deposited on the stainless-steel filter basket, which can be cleaned and reused.
