VSLS Hydrocyclone Centrifugal Solid Liquid Separator

Short Description:

VSLS Centrifugal Hydrocyclone uses the centrifugal force generated by liquid rotation to separate precipitable particles. It is widely used in solid-liquid separation. It can separate solid impurities as small as 5μm. Its separation efficiency depends on the particle density and liquid viscosity. It operates without moving parts and does not require cleaning or replacement of filter elements, thus can be used for many years without maintenance. Design standard: ASME/ANSI/EN1092-1/DIN/JIS. Other standards possible upon request.

Separation efficiency: 98%, for large specific gravity particles greater than 40μm. Flow rate: 1-5000 m3/h. Applies to: Water treatment, paper, petrochemical, metal processing, biochemical-pharmaceutical industry, etc.

Introduction

VITHY® VSLS Centrifugal Hydrocyclone’s separation efficiency is mainly affected by the particle density and liquid viscosity. The larger the specific gravity of the particles, the lower the viscosity, and the better the separation effect.

VSLS-G Hydrocyclone itself significantly increases separation efficiency through multi-stage combined separation. Besides, it is also an excellent pre-separation device. The low-cost, high-performance pretreatment of VSLS-G rotary separator is combined with fine filtration equipment (such as self-cleaning filters, bag filters, cartridge filters, iron removers, etc.) to obtain better overall filtration performance, reduce filter media consumption and material emissions. VSLS-G Hydrocyclone with low-cost, high-performance pretreatment can be combined with fine filtration equipment (such as self-cleaning filters, bag filters, cartridge filters, magnetic separators, etc.) to obtain better overall filtration performance, reducing filter media consumption and material emissions.
