VITHY® VGTF Vertical Pressure Leaf Filter (also called Arma Filter) is composed of the filter and some auxiliary equipment such as a mixer, transfer pump, pipeline, valve, electrical control, etc. Its filtration process depends on the slurry properties.
The main body of the filter is composed of a filter tank, filter screen, lid lifting mechanism, automatic slag discharge device, etc. After the filter aid is mixed with the slurry in the mixer, it is transported by the pump on the filter screen to form a cake layer. Once a stable filter cake layer has formed, the fine filter aid particles can provide countless fine channels, trapping suspended debris, but also allowing clear liquid to pass through without blockage. Therefore, the slurry is actually filtered through the filter cake layer. The filter screen is composed of multiple layers of stainless-steel mesh, installed on the central aggregate pipe, which is very convenient to assemble, disassemble, and clean.
VGTF Vertical Pressure Leaf Filter is a new generation of high-efficiency filtration equipment designed by our company to completely replace the plate and frame filter cloth filter press. The filter components are all made of stainless steel. The entire filtration process is carried out in sealed containers. The equipment customizable for manual or automatic slag discharge, which is very convenient to operate, eliminating slurry leakage, pollution, etc. in the open structure of the traditional filter press. The filtration rating of the filter is very high so that it can achieve the effect of liquid filtration and clarification at a time.
As the raw material enters the filter through the inlet, it passes through the leaf, which efficiently captures impurities on its outer surface. As the impurities accumulate, the pressure inside the housing gradually rises. Feeding is stopped when the pressure reaches the designated value. Subsequently, compressed air is introduced to effectively push the filtrate into a separate tank, where the filter cake is dried through a blowing process. Once the cake achieves the desired dryness, the vibrator is activated to shake off the cake, allowing for its discharge.

● According to the filtration rating requirements, filter components with different precision are selected to carry out coarse or fine filtration.
● The filtrate can be completely recovered without residual liquid.
● Low cost: Instead of filter paper/cloth/paper core, durable stainless steel filter components are used.
● Low labor intensity: Press the slag discharge button, then the slag outlet opens automatically, and the filter slag can be automatically removed.
● According to customer requirements, diatomaceous earth mixing tank can be added, a diaphragm automatic metering and adding pump can be added, and the whole filtration process is fully automated.
● The filtration temperature is unlimited. The filtration requires few operators, and the operation is simple.
● The filter has a novel shape and small footprint, with low vibration, high production efficiency, and low consumption.
● The filtrate is transparent and has high fineness. No slurry loss. Easy to clean.
