VITHY® VAS-A Automatic Self-cleaning Pneumatic Scraper Filter utilizes a cylinder-driven scraping mechanism to effectively eliminate particulate impurities from the inner surface of the filter mesh. The scraper ring, made of PTFE, helps remove these particles from top to bottom, and they are then discharged through the bottom sewage outlet. This filter works well in high impurity content and continuous uninterrupted production conditions as it has the capabilities to continuously filter inline and recover particulate impurities. Notably, it eliminates the need for filter consumables and reduces the frequency of manual cleaning requirements.
The filter takes in the raw material from the inlet and filters it through the mesh, where impurities are trapped on the inner surface. As impurities build up, the pressure difference between the inlet and outlet increases. When the pressure difference or a set time limit is reached, the cylinder activates the scraper ring to remove the impurities from the mesh. The removed impurities are then carried to the collection chamber along with the flow of water. The sewage system is automated and starts at regular intervals. Despite the impurity scraping and sewage discharge, the filter remains operational and continues to effectively filter the raw material.
