From November 19 to 21, 2024, the 16th China International Chemical Technology & Equipment Fair took place at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai. This year’s event was a remarkable success, featuring over 1,000 exhibitors and covering an impressive exhibition area of 70,000 square meters. The expo attracted more than 100,000 professional visitors, marking a significant increase of 6.89% compared to the previous year.
The expo, known as the annual gathering for the chemical equipment industry, showcased a wide range of sectors, including petrochemical equipment, chemical unit devices, environmental protection equipment, pumps and valves, automation and instrumentation, safety and emergency response, and smart chemical parks. This comprehensive approach allowed industry leaders to present the latest advanced technologies and equipment, catering to the one-stop procurement needs of chemical production enterprises.
Throughout the three-day event, the expo welcomed a total of 52,836 attendees, with over 100,000 visits recorded. Notably, the number of international visitors reached 1,340, demonstrating the expo’s growing global influence. Attendees hailed from over 30 countries and regions, including the UK, France, Germany, Portugal, Spain, Italy, Denmark, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the UAE, and emerging markets such as India, Brazil, and Russia.
In addition to the exhibition, the event featured more than ten conferences and seminars, including the China International Chemical Equipment Innovation Development Conference and the 2024 Microchemical Technology Forum. These sessions addressed current industry trends and facilitated cross-regional and cross-industry discussions, enhancing interaction within the chemical equipment supply chain.
